Where we're getting married!

Well, we've broke the news to the parents so I think its safe to put it online - Jay and I will be getting married in the fabulous Las Vegas!  Both of us wanted a small wedding, and did not want a traditional reception.  Jay specifically requested "no dancing!"  We instantly decided on a destination wedding and after I decided I love shoes too much to get married on the beach, Vegas seemed to be our mutual choice.  We spent alot of time looking online at the various options, and after a scouting trip in February, we have settled on our locations.

Ceremony - Caesar's Palace, Juno Garden

Caesar's Palace in general fell under our first choice.  The location is right in the middle of all things Vegas, which will be great for our guests.  I really liked what I read about the Juno Garden, but its new so there were limited pictures.  When we went out on our trip, there was some construction going on so we couldn't get into the actual Juno Garden.  But, Deb gave us a ton of pictures of the venue, and there was a Bride reviewing here Juno Garden ceremony pictures, and she let us look at those.  After seeing the Venus Garden, we decided we wanted more privacy, so we book the Juno Garden.

Reception - Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab

Picture
As stated above, we're not having a traditional Midwest reception.  I think this will be a nice change for our families, who are both from Wisconsin and Michigan.  We're going to do a nice dinner with all of our guests.  We are booking an open bar and a limited menu, where guests can pick what they want to eat that night (no "please check the meal you want" 2 months ahead of time on the RSVPs).  Joe's seems like our perfect fit.  The food options are perfect - steak, fish, chicken, crab (yum!).  They also have a open bar option that we find affordable.  And the private room has a view of the Strip.
